Izuo High School was established as the Seventh Osaka Prefectural
Girls' High School in April, 1921, and the name was changed to Izuo
Girls' High School in the next year.“Purity and Neatness”as school
mottos and “White lilies”as a school badge were set at that time.
When the school became co-ed by the postwar educational system
reform, its name was changed to Osaka Prefectural Izuo High School.
It has over 80 year history and more than 20,000 graduates since its
foundation. The graduates are playing an active part in various fields
in the society now.
