Clubs

Takatsuki-Minami High School offers over 30 clubs ranging from traditional crafts such as tea ceremony and calligraphy, to sports clubs such as soccer. Many of these clubs meet up to six days a week. Unlike American high school sports teams, students are invited to join any club they wish, regardless of their level. The upperclassmen help teach their juniors, who then return the favor when they become seniors. School clubs are an integral part of the Japanese education system, and lifelong friendships and memories are often formed.
Takatsuki-Minami High School clubs can be divided into two groups: cultural/academic clubs and athletic clubs. Here is a listing of the active clubs:
