槻の木高校の姉妹校であるタイのルン・アルン学園から女子生徒１名が本校を訪れ、約一ヶ月間（平成１８年４月８日～５月２日）本校生徒の家庭にホームステイしました。
訪れたのは、Hatajich Pamornratさん（１７歳）で、今年１月に本校生徒６名がルン・アルン学園を訪れた際にホームステイを引き受けてくれた生徒の一人で、今回は、その時ホームステイした２年生の生徒の家庭に滞在し、学校での授業参加や、高槻市の日本語支援団体｢クスクス｣のスタッフの方々の支援を受け、日本語を熱心に学びました。放課後はユネスコクラブを中心に多くの生徒と交流を図り、親交を深めると共に、本校生徒にとってもタイの文化に接する良い機会となりました。

Do you know any Japanese singers or groups?
Yes, I know Takki and Tsubasa. I listened to their CD in Thailand because
I love “Inuyasha”.
In Thailand, what is the image of a beautiful woman ?
A beautiful woman in Thailand is a woman with beautiful skin.
What do you think of Japan?
In Japan, there are many trains, so we can go anywhere. I think it is an advantage of Japan. But Japanese toilets are strange to me because the toilets in Thailand are different. In Thailand, we clean with a hose instead of wiping with toilet paper.
What is your favorite snack?
I like okaki!
What is your favourite subject?
I like fine arts.
How long have you been studying Japanese?
I have been studying it for two years.
What do you want to be in the future?
I want to be a coffee shop owner.
What kind of food do you like?
I love noodles.
How long does it take to get from Thailand to Japan?
It takes about five hours by plane.
What is the average temperature in Thailand?
It’s about twenty-eight degrees Celcius.
At what age can you get married in Thailand?
We can get married at 20. If we get our parents’ permission, we can get married at 17.
At what age can you drive?
We can get a driver’s license at 18. We can drive motorcycles and drink at the same age.
