本校の教員から、ぜひブログに掲載してほしいというメッセージがありましたので、以下にご紹介します。
地球の裏側からのメッセージ
先日、修学旅行に長崎に行きました。その新幹線の中で出会った外国人の方が、スイスの公立大学ベルン大学の学長であり、化学分野の世界的な第一人者、クリスチャン・レウマン氏であることが判明いたしました。名刺をいただきましたので、日本にいる間にぜひ本校によっていただきたいとメールを送ったところ、丁寧な返信をいただきました。本校によっていただくという夢のような話は実現できませんでしたが、そのメールの中で、「あなたの仕事は大変であるけれども、絶対やりがいのあることなので、がんばってほしい。」という強いメッセージをいただきました。私たちへの励みになるメッセージで、とても感激しました。
A message from the other side of the earth
The other day we met a foreigner in the bullet train for Hakata. We were on the school excursion for Nagasaki. One of our teachers talked to him and found him a principal of a public university, Bern University in Switzerland. He is a recognized authority on chemistry in the world. He gave us a name card, so we sent a email saying we wanted him to drop in at our school. He returned us. He said he was very busy and didn't have time to visit us. But we are very moved by his last line ,that is , "I wish you all the best with your difficult but certainly rewarding job." This is a strong message that certainly encourage all the people who work for the handicapped.
