■　The Second Student Exchange Program 　　　　　between Tsukinoki and Toowoomba starts　■

Twenty four students from our sister school, Toowoomba SHS in Queensland, have started their homestay with Tsukinoki students’ as part of the international exchange program between Tsukinoki SHS and Toowoomba SHS, and also the sister city relationship between Takatsuki city and Toowoomba city. 　　　　　 　　　　■Date : 9th September 〜　24th September, 2005 　　　　■Participants : 24 students (14 girls, 10 boys ) 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　2 teachers 　　　　■Major places to visit : Takatsuki City Hall 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　Frozen food factory 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　Kabusanji Temple 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　Kiyomizu Temple 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　Kinkakuji Temple 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　Nara 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　Shiroato (Castle Ruins) Historical Museum 　　　　■Goals 　　　　　　　(1) To promote further friendship between students of Tsukinoki 　　　　　　　　　SHS and Toowoomba SHS 　　　　　　　 (2) To improve English skills of Tsukinoki students, and deepen 　　　　　　　　　the understanding of Japanese culture of Toowoomba students. 　　　　　　　(3) To promote international understanding and nurture a spirit of 　　　　　　　　　accepting differences . 　　　 　Students from Toowoomba SHS arrived at Takatsuki city at 14:00 on September 9th, Sunday. It was a long-waited arrival by Tsukinoki SHS students. We hope to deepen our friendship, and make many wonderful memories during their two-weeks' stay. We hope this program will be successful.
