月11日～13日の3日間、1年7組で日本の授業を体験したケイリーンよりの礼状です。
Kaylene's thank-you letter（ケイリーンの礼状）
I really enjoyed my three days at Sakurazuka High School. I want to thank everyone for making it so comfortable and fun for me. I really appreciated all of the teachers who put English into their lessons so that was included with the rest of the class! I had lots of fun with the students as well. I really enjoyed doing the club activities too, the tea ceremony club was one of my favorites, and I loved learning Martial Arts as well. It was fun wearing a uniform like everyone else, because in Canada it is rare to have school uniforms. I want to thank the Vice Principal for his skillful English and helping me understand things. I also want to thank Drew-sensei for making me comfortable in the school and the Tea Ceremony club. I learned lots from everyone. I even liked the Math class which I usually hate in Canada! And I want to apologize for sleeping in any of the classes, I was very very tired from Jet Lag. It was a very fun experience in Japanese High School, and I learned many things! Than you so much !

今回、ホームステイの受け入れを父から聞いたとき、とても驚きました。それと同時に不安にもなりました。でも、実際にケイリーンに会ってみると、とても明るい人だったのでとても安心しました。ケイリーンが来てからいろいろなことを一緒にしました。買い物に行ったり、海へ行ったり・・・他にもケイリーンがきっかけで、茶道を体験したり空手を見させてもらって、とても勉強になりました。私はそんなに成績が良いわけではないのですが、中学校で英語を勉強したおかげで、ある程度の会話はできました。でも、やっぱり微妙なニュアンスは伝えられないことが悔しかったので、もっと話せるようになりたいと思いました。難しいかもしれないけど、もっと勉強して英検を取って、いつかケイリーンのいるカナダに遊びに行けたらなあと思います。
