Of course, speaking English and talking to students and teachers at Holland Park High School is one of the best ways to communicate with our new friends in Australia. However, our students at Tennoji have also been using their unique hobbies to get to know our counter-partners. Students have been using a recent volleyball tournament, pick-up basketball games before school, and rugby during PE classes to use sport as an international language of peace and understanding. Other students have been putting their art skills to work, expressing themselves with ways other than language. We have been discovering so many ways to get involved. This involvement has helped us to interact on a deeper level than before!
