中間考査が終わり、週１回長文読解講習が再開しています。

3年生は入試に向けて積み重ねていく時期。
前回お知らせしたよりも参加者が増えてきました。みなさんは、土曜の午前を有意義に使えていますか。まだまだ参加者募集中です。一日一日を大切に。
本日の長文の第1と第2パラグラフです。
When I was nine, I needed to earn money, so I asked Mr.Miceli from the Herald newspaper in my neighborhood, about an after-school job delivering newspapers. He said if I had a bicycle, he'd give me one.
My dad bought me a used bike, but right after that he was hospitalized with pneumonia and couldn't teach me how to ride. Mr. Miceli hadn't asked to see me ride. He merely asked to see the bike. So I walked it down to his garage, showed it to him and got the job.
