We did an online exchange with university students from Da Nang, Vietnam last week.
先週、ベトナムのダナンの大学生とオンライン交流をしました。
The students from each school gave a presentation about their country and school life, followed by a Q&A (question and answer) session.
お互いの国や学校生活について発表をし、質疑応答を行いました。
The ESS Club students also participated. They introduced some of the fun events and the delicious cafeteria food at Senyo High School.
ESS部の生徒も参加し、泉陽高校の楽しい行事や食堂の美味しいごはんを紹介しました。
Coincidentally, the students from Vietnam asked them, "Are there any club activities related to studying?" to which they answered, "ESS Club!"
ベトナムの学生から、「勉強に関係した部活動はありますか？」という質問が偶然にもあったので、「ESS部です！」と答えました。
It was a very enjoyable exchange that used Vietnamese, Japanese, and English.
ベトナム語、日本語、英語を使っての交流となり、とても楽しかったです。
Unlike the time when our club advisor was a high school student, it's now easy to do an exchange online with people from overseas. You will feel as if you have traveled there by seeing the images on the screen.
今は（顧問が高校生だった頃の）昔と違って、インターネットで簡単に海外の人と交流でき、映像を見て、旅をした気持ちになることもできます。
However, as expected, this exchange made me want to visit Vietnam and see the beautiful scenery and lifestyle of the Vietnamese people that the university students introduced.
しかし、今回の交流で、やはり、ベトナムを訪れ、大学生の皆さんが紹介してくれたベトナムの人々の暮らしや美しい景色を見てみたいと思いました。
Next time, instead of meeting online, it would be great if we could visit each other's schools and do an exchange face-to-face!
次回は、オンラインではなく、お互いの学校を訪問し、face to faceの交流ができたら嬉しいです！
