I will report our activities from summer to autumn.
夏から秋にかけてのESS部の活動を報告します。
One of our members took part in an English presentation contest in summer and she made a presentation about 'peace.' It was very emotional and I felt that it inspired everyone who saw it to take actions for the peaceful world.
夏に部員の一人が英語プレゼンテーションコンテストに出場し、「平和」についての発表を行いました。とても感動的なスピーチで、この発表を見た人は「平和」のために行動を起こそうと思ったと思います。
We had the culture festival in autumn. The theme of our exhibition this year was 'Expo' and we made mini models of our original pavilions and explanations of them in English. The pavilions were so wonderful and well-organized enough to be able to exhibit at the Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai.
秋には文化祭があり、今年は「万博」をテーマに、自作のパビリオンの模型を作成し、そのパビリオンの説明を英語で考えました。大阪・関西万博に出展できそうなほど素敵なパビリオンができました。
We did a 'Halloween parade' on Halloween day for the first time. When we asked students we came across 'What is the magic word on Halloween day?,' everyone answered 'Trick or treat!' The candies we had prepared were given away in a moment! We ran into the group who held a Halloween party and we took photos together and exchanged candies. American candies by our ALT teacher were also very popular among students!
ハロウィンの日には、ＥＳＳ部初の試みである「ハロウィンパレード」を行いました。出会った生徒に'What is the magic word on Halloween day?'と聞くと、皆'Trick or treat!'と答えてくれたので、準備していたお菓子はあっと言う間になくなりました。ハロウィンパーティをしているグループにも出くわし、一緒に写真を撮ったり、お菓子を交換しました。ALTの先生のアメリカのお菓子も大好評でした！
We always have club activities in the LL room, but this time, we were able to leave the classroom and we could communicate with a lot of students through English. We are trying new things and the ESS club is making an evolution now!
いつもはＬＬ教室で活動をしているＥＳＳ部ですが、今回は教室を飛び出し、英語を通じて沢山の人とつながることができました。新しいことにも挑戦して、ＥＳＳ部は進化中です！
