Australia Study Tour 2025 was held from July 18 to July 28 on the Gold Coast, Australia.
オーストラリア研修旅行2025は、7月18日から28日までオーストラリアのゴールドコーストで実施されました。
20 students and 2 teachers embarked on an overseas adventure that turned out to be an amazing experience for everyone.
生徒20名と教員2名が参加し、全員にとって素晴らしい体験となる海外研修の冒険が始まりました。
We arrived in Australia early in the morning on July 19th after an eight-and-a-half-hour flight from Osaka.
7月19日早朝、私たちは大阪から約8時間半のフライトを経てオーストラリアに到着しました。
A bus delivered us to Griffith University's Gold Coast campus, where students met their host families and left together to begin their homestay adventure.
バスでグリフィス大学ゴールドコーストキャンパスに向かい、生徒たちはそこでホストファミリーと対面し、それぞれのホームステイ先へと出発しました。
What was truly impressive was how determined the students were to use English.
特に感心したのは、生徒たちが英語を使うことに非常に積極的だったことです。
Even during the flight, they spoke English with each other and with the teachers.
機内でも、生徒同士や先生との会話を英語で行っていました。
After spending Saturday and Sunday with their host families, students gathered at the university on Monday to begin their English lessons.
土曜日と日曜日をホストファミリーと過ごした後、生徒たちは月曜日に大学に集合し、英語の授業が始まりました。
Their teacher, Nastaran (originally from Iran), guided them through a range of topics including SDGs, conversational English, and Australian slang.
担当の先生ナスタランさん（イラン出身）は、SDGs、日常英会話、オーストラリアのスラングなど、さまざまなトピックを丁寧に教えてくださいました。
In the afternoons, the students enjoyed various activities such as a campus tour with university students, a trip to the rainforest, a lecture on SDGs, an Aboriginal art experience, and a visit to Coombabah Lakelands to observe wild koalas and kangaroos.
午後には、大学生とのキャンパスツアー、熱帯雨林への遠足、SDGsに関する講義、アボリジニアート体験、クンババ・レイクランドでの野生のコアラとカンガルーの観察など、多彩なアクティビティを楽しみました。
On Saturday, students spent one more day with their host families, and then said heartfelt goodbyes on Sunday morning.
土曜日にはもう一日ホストファミリーと過ごし、日曜日の朝にお別れの時を迎えました。
Several host families commented that the students were amazing, always used English, and worked hard to connect with their families.
多くのホストファミリーからは、「生徒たちは素晴らしかった」「常に英語を使っていた」「家族との関わりを大切にしてくれた」といった温かいコメントをいただきました。
After saying goodbye, we headed to a shopping mall where students could finish souvenir shopping or simply relax before going to the hotel for our final night in Australia.
別れを告げた後はショッピングモールに立ち寄り、お土産を買い足したり、ゆっくり過ごしたりした後、最後の夜を過ごすホテルへ向かいました。
We flew back to Osaka on Monday, July 28, arriving in the evening where parents were waiting eagerly.
7月28日（月）にオーストラリアを出発し、夜に大阪へ到着。保護者の皆様が出迎えてくださいました。
Ikuno students always give their best effort, but somehow, this year's group was especially outstanding.
生野高校の生徒たちはいつも全力を尽くしますが、今年の参加メンバーは特に素晴らしいグループでした。
We hope to continue finding such motivated, hardworking, and positive students for future study tours.
今後の研修旅行にも、このような意欲的で努力を惜しまない、前向きな生徒たちが参加してくれることを願っています。
