At the ESS Club, we will have a lot of fun learning English centered around the ALT teacher.
ESS部ではALTの先生を中心に英語を楽しく学んでいます。
Today, I will interview the new teacher who will be working at Senyo High School starting from last month.
今日は、先月より新しく泉陽高校に来てくれている先生にインタビューを行います。
Interviewer: What is your first impression of Senyo High School?
インタビュアー：泉陽高校の印象を教えてください。
ALT：The school is quite large and it's easy for me to get lost, but everyone here is really friendly! The students seem very intelligent and I'm excited to get to know them better. I think this is a great school. I'm lucky to be working here!
ALT：泉陽高校はとても広くて迷子になりそうですが、みんなとても親切です！生徒たちは賢そうで、仲良くなるのが楽しみです。素晴らしい学校だと思います。ここで働くことができて幸運です！
Interviewer: I heard you just started your new life in Japan. How has it been so far?
インタビュアー :日本で暮らし始めたばかりだと聞いていますが、こちらでの生活はどうですか？
ALT: It has definitely been difficult getting used to everything. Life here is very different from my life in the US. However, people in Japan are so polite and helpful, and this lifestyle seems to suit me better. I'm sure I'm going to be very happy here.
ALT：新しい生活に慣れるのは確かに大変ですね。日本の生活はアメリカでの生活とは全く違います。でも、日本の人々はとても礼儀正しく、優しいです。この生活が私に合っているようです。きっとここで幸せになれると思います。
Interviewer: Thank you! We're glad you're here. Next month we will have a culture festival. There will be many exhibitions and performances by the classes and clubs at our school. Please look forward to it!
インタビュアー： ありがとうございました。あなたを迎えられて嬉しいです。来月は文化祭があります。クラスや部活動の展示やパフォーマンスがありますので、ぜひ楽しんでください！
ALT: That sounds awesome! I'm excited to experience my first culture festival!
ALT：すごいですね！初めての文化祭を楽しみにしています！
