Today was the final ESS of this school year.
今日は今年度最後のESSでした。
First, we practiced introducing our club to new students who will be joining our school in April.
まず、４月に行われる新入生への部活動紹介の練習をしました。
We will make a presentation in English. Please look forward to it!
英語で発表をするので、楽しみにしていてください！
After that, we shared our favorite English songs, movies, and some internet sites with each other.
その後、お互いのおすすめの英語の歌や映画、インターネットのサイトなどを紹介しました。
We will enjoy them during the long spring vacation.
長い春休みの間にそれらを見たり、聞いたりして、英語を楽しもうと思っています。
I introduced the series of Paddington, which is a popular UK movie, because students at our high school go to the UK to study English.
泉陽高校はイギリスの語学研修を行っているので、私はイギリスで人気の映画「パディントン」シリーズを紹介しました。
In this movie, you can see many famous British sightseeing spots, such as St Paul's Cathedral. You can also laugh at the cynical but funny jokes, and enjoy England's cuteness, like red public telephones.
この映画では、セント・ポール大聖堂などのイギリスの有名な観光地がたくさん出てくるだけでなく、イギリス人のちょっぴり皮肉交じりの面白いジョークや、赤い公衆電話などのイギリスの可愛らしさも感じられます。
Of course, you can enjoy the charming British English. In fact, I practice English by repeating Paddington's lines.
もちろん、魅力的なブリティッシュイングリッシュも楽しめ、私はパディントンのセリフをリピートして英語の練習しています。
