About the Temporary Closure Due to Corona Virus
In order to avoid the spread of the Corona virus to the students, the Osaka Prefectural Board of Education has decided to extend the temporary closure of all school levels in Osaka Prefecture from May 7th (Thur) to May 31st (Sun). However, it has been a long time since the temporary closure has started, that is why, we have decided to have the students to come to school for 1-2 days a week to check on their health, and to check on their lifestyle and progress in their studies during this period. Now, about the students coming to school, according to the schedule attached in a different paper, we have divided the days they have to come to school, and we will only have 15 students per classroom. We are strictly applying these measures to avoid the spread of the virus. Also, we ask you to have the students wear a mask from the time they leave home and must wear it at all times.
Now, upon going to school, we ask you to have the students check their body temperatures and observe their health status. If by chance they have a fever, cough or any other symptoms of cold, do not let them go to school and have them rest at home. Also, if by chance that they will have a fever or any symptoms of colds in school, we would have them go home immediately while asking the parents to fetch them from school, so please be advised that the school may contact you anytime. (if by chance we are not able to contact you, please understand that we have to let the students go home alone.) And, if you have any worries about the students catching the Corona Virus, you don't have to let them go to school to the said schedule and consult with the school.
In addition to that, if you have a suspicion of having the Corona Virus in your home, upon contacting the nearest Corona Virus Health Consultation Center, please also contact the school.
