Resumption of Educational Activities at Prefectural Schools
About the measures regarding the temporary closures on prefectural schools. From May 11th (Mon) to May 31st (Sun), prefectural schools will remain temporarily closed. However, based on the decision made by the Osaka Prefectural Corona Virus Countermeasures Headquarters, the Osaka Prefectural Ministry of Education has announced to resume educational activities.
- Temporary closures of schools will continue until May 31st (Sun), and educational activities will gradually resume on June 1st (Mon).
- Steps regarding the gradually resumption of educational activities are as follows:
(1) From June 1st (Mon) to June 12th (Fri)
- Staggered attendance and shortened-classes will be conducted. Until 20 students per classroom.
- For students to avoid the rush hours on public transportations, we will adjust the school time.
- We will have the student leave the school premises as soon as the school is done.
- School and club activities will not be allowed.
(2) From June 15th (Mon) onwards
- Regular classes will be held, 40 students per classroom.
- School and club activities will be allowed.
During the period from June 1st (Mon) to June 12th (Fri), we will divide the students by their attendance number and hold morning and afternoon classes. Classes will be shortened into 3 hours. For details, please check the schedule.
Finally, we are about to start every day classes. Please continue to measure your body temperature before going to school. Also, please continue to wear mask upon leaving your home. And lastly, please continue to manage your health to avoid getting infected.
