1. What is your name and where are you from?
My name is Crispin Martens and I am from Switzerland.
2. Where do you live?
I live in Zurich, which is the largest city in the country.
3. How many languages can you speak?
I speak three languages fluently (German, English, and Swedish).
4. How long have you been practising kendo and how often do you practice?
I have been pracising for 29 years and practise three times a week.
5. Why did you start kendo and what do you like most about it?
I just enjoy doing it - it's fun!
6. Do you like any other traditional Japanese things?
I like Japanese food and history. Mt favourite food is grapes.
7. How many times have you visited Japan?
I have visited Japan19 times.
8. What do you like most about Japan?
Everything! Japan is great.
9. Do you have a favourite Japanese word or phrase?
一期一会 (One chance, one opportunity)
