Student Council Activities

The most unique characteristic of the Kitano Student Council is that work on school budgets and settlement is carried out primarily by the students. They are largely responsible for all duties throughout the process, from drafting the budget proposal after negotiations with the clubs, to balancing the numbers in order to determine whether the budget has been adhered to.

The Budget & Settlement General Meeting is held annually in May.

The Student Council Officer’s Meeting (Enforcement Branch) also serves as the main source of support for the June Rikuryo Festival (school festival).

The Student Council Officer Election is held twice annually, in May (1st semester) and November (2nd semester).

Over the years, motivated students have led Student Council activities, working hard to make the campus more beautiful, to expand facilities, and much more. Documentation of these activities is published in the Yearbook every April.
