Australia Study Tour: North Stradbroke Island

Today is our final day in Australia. We took a ferry over to North Stradbroke Island. First, we listened to a lecture by Dr. Mizuno, an expert on koalas.

After the lecture, we went to lookout point. We could see whales, sea turtles, dolphins and even a kangaroo right in front of us. It was the most beautiful scene.

Then we went down to Amity Point where we searched for wild koalas. We were not disappointed. We saw 4 koalas. One koala was so close to us and right on the beach. Our luck today was amazing! What an incredible way to finish a spectacular trip to Australia.

We are safely at Ibis Airport Hotel. Tonight we will eat dinner together and then go to bed. We wake up at 3:00 a.m. to go to the airport. We are looking forward to seeing our families in Japan. Our flight should arrive at 18:55 at Kansai Airport. Thank you parents for sending your wonderful students to Australia. This was an amazing adventure, and I think many students have created wonderful memories and some have even developed bigger dreams for the future. Onward and Upward!
