Hello! I am Shikata, a social studies teacher.
This year again, second year students have started a research project.
The program consists of Vision 1 (Fair Trade) for 12 students, Vision 2 (Global Environment Problems) for 10 students, Vision 3 (Japan and Islamic Countries) for 30 students, and Vision 4 (Comparative Culture) for 30 students.
I hope they will do their best to deepen new knowledge.
The first class started on April 16. Our students are addressing the research project in a fresh frame of mind.
I will introduce their efforts in Vision 3 as I am in charge of it.
I gave them homework of reading a new book about "Islam" during the spring vacation, so they performed brainstorming based on it.
They will take up subjects they wonder about "Islam" and understand what they should learn in the current world.
The research is supposed to begin from here.
