This Year's Last Project Study Class

December 20, 2019, 15:19

Hello! I am Inoue, a Japanese Language teacher.

This year's last class for the project study was held on December 20 (Fri.).

Our students started summarizing their study results into an outline or a poster, referring to a sample of a good paper to learn how to write their own paper (both are homework for winter holiday), going out for their fieldworks to deepen their study, or compiling the questionnaires and surveillances. Their study having been promoted for one year approaches the final stage.

The project study has not been finished yet, but the students have learned and experienced a lot through research activity since April, such as writing a paper, thinking logically, negotiating with others, making phone calls, sending emails, conducting questionnaires, etc. The results sometimes ended up in failure, but the students were helped by their seniors' research, outsiders' advice, their juniors' cooperation, etc. So I realize their research activity is owed to the support of people around them and that their experience must have absolutely been meaningful.

There is little time left for the Toyonaka High School Research Presentation scheduled for February. I hope they will make excellent presentations as the culmination of their one year effort.

Though these days are warmer than usual, it is still cold on the way to and from school. Please take care of yourself and have a happy new year!
