Progress in Research Project: Identification of Problems

Hello, everybody! I am a Japanese Language teacher Eguchi, in charge of Vision 4.

Since the research project started, about one month and a half have passed. I will report the progress up to now.

By considering "Why we do a research project," we confirmed that it is at least useful to solve numerous problems in the world.

Because our students need to know what are problems (=what we can do to solve problems), they picked up problems, based on their knowledge so far acquired, imaginations and interests.

To identify problems, they must know what kind of difficulties Islamic people have and what problems are there in such countries. So the students are reading books and papers to find out problems and to understand the reality and the reasons.

They first depended on their assumptions and imaginations alone, but by studying books and papers, they seem to have recognized "Islamic people's real problems," "reasons of their difficulties," or "those are not so big a problem in reality."

The basics of study is to accumulate logic, based on adequate ground (evidence).

This is important. The students' research is gradually progressing through trial and error.
