Today we went to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. We were excited to see the koalas, and even got to touch one! We were also able to feed and take selfies with kangaroos and wallabies. There are many other Australian animals at Lone Pine, such as dingos, emus and platypuses.
The platypus was smaller than expected.
After visiting Lone Pine, we took a cruise along Brisbane River. We were surprised by the beautiful landscape of Brisbane. After a long day outside, the gentle breeze and intense sunlight on the river made us sleepy. We took a bus back to Holland Park and then went back to our host families.
