March 9th (Sunday)
It rained all day today...
The news has been reporting about the damage caused by cyclones almost every day. I heard that there were fallen trees on the streets near our neighborhood, which is scary. I hope things return to normal as soon as possible, and that everyone can stay safe.
In the morning, I made chocolate slice! Our host mother is very good at cooking, and we call her our cooking teacher. Cooking with her is really fun, and it makes me want to try cooking in Japan too! While I'm in Australia, I want to get better at cooking and surprise my family!! For the chocolate slice, we used a lot of coconut, which was very fresh since it's not commonly used in Japan.
In the afternoon, I watched Harry Potter in English! I had never seen Harry Potter before, so the English was difficult, but I managed to enjoy it with my imagination! However, I fell asleep during the climax, so I want to try again...
After that, I enjoyed LEGO again! I challenged myself with something more difficult than yesterday, but it was too hard, and I couldn't finish it. I was frustrated...
For dinner, we had tomatoes, chips, yesterday's zucchini slices, and broccoli! The zucchini slices had a rich cheesy flavor, and they were very delicious! I love our host mother's cooking, so it's really sad that there's only one week left...
Before going to bed, I had a video call with other students from the Australia program! It was so much fun to see everyone's faces after such a long time!
Tomorrow, I'll be able to go to school, so I'm looking forward to seeing everyone!

午前中は、チョコレートスライスを作りました！
午後からは、ハリーポッターを英語で鑑賞しました！
その後は、またLEGOを楽しみました！
夜ご飯は、トマト、チップス、昨日のズッキーニスライス、
寝る前に、
明日は学校に行けるので、早くみんなに会いたいです！
