I am Moriguchi in charge of Vision 3.
I will report on the progress in our research project.
Our students began fieldwork earnestly during the summer vacation before the start of September class!
When the fieldwork started in April, each group selected a theme and has since been thinking deeply about the theme. This summer they visited experts in each field to get further information.
They visited the experts after searching, contacting and making an appointment all by themselves.
The group of Vision 3 visited Miyako International Tourist Co., Ltd. on August 21. The company politely answered our students' various questions by showing various materials, and told about their efforts to entertain Muslims staying in Japan. I think it was very informative for the students.
The other group visited The United Hotel Osaka Umeda. The hotel staff told how they make efforts to let Muslims enjoy meals during the stay in Japan for sightseeing, as well as about the hotel's consideration to Muslims. The staff kindly answered our nervous students' halting questions.
I hope that the students will make good use of this valuable experiences and deepen their study.
