Hello everyone! I am Moriguchi, a Social Studies teacher.
The project study for the second grade students began on April 12 (Fri.). The class is held in 6th and 7th periods every Friday this year.
From this year all second grade students have taken a Humanities and Sciences course, so all of them engage in the project study. As many as 150 SGH students, twice the number of last year, belong to the Humanities course, so we can expect a variety of study results. I want them to do their best by cooperating each other to achieve good results.
I will tell you about the second time VISION3 class of April 19 (Fri.).
The students talked about what they understood from the previous week lesson and what they would like to choose as a study theme.
They divided into some teams according to the theme they want to study (such as about Malaysia, Indonesia, UAE, Yemen, Turkey or Egypt), and started discussions.
I want them to discuss further among the team members and deepen their study.
