９月８日から２１日までの２週間、寝屋川市の姉妹都市であるカナダ、オークビル市から訪問団が来日しました。
訪問団は３つの高校から成り、それぞれ寝屋川市内の３つの府立高校と姉妹校の関係にあります。
本校の姉妹校White Oaks Secondary Schoolからは生徒１０名と教員２名が来校し、ホームステイをしながら、下記の日程で滞在しました。

カナダの生徒のみなさんには、滞在の最後に感想を書いてもらいました。以下に、その一部を紹介します。
Although I have only been in Japan for two weeks, I feel as though I've learned more in that short time than I have in the entirety of my life. Being able to live a different life style and speak a new language has given me a new appreciation for my place in the world. And even though I will soon be returning to Canada, I will never forget the many things I've learned here and the wonderful people I have been lucky enough to meet.
