ＹＦＵ日本国際交流財団の外国高校生として、アメリカからEstelle JOURETさんとAnastasia MILLARDさんの２人が、６月２５日から７月２０日までの間、本校で学校生活を体験しました。この間には、本校の最大の行事である学園祭がありましたが、２人とも、それぞれのホームルームクラスで、コーラスコンクールや出し物に参加しました。
２人には、自己紹介や本校の印象についてのエッセイも書いてもらいました。以下は、「寝屋川高校の印象」からの抜粋です。
・I think that the students at Neyagawa are amazing. They are very responsible, polite, and always have a busy schedule of clubs and activities. The teachers are also very friendly and tolerant.
・I was very impressed with the responsibility of the students here. I could see how hard everyone worked for the school festival and how everyone was doing their part. Teachers didn't even need to tell what they had to do and everyone was more than willing to stay afterschool and work.
最終日の全校集会では、お別れの挨拶をしました。
