Faint but twinkling light!

We would like to introduce our school life. We have a motto "Akutagawa high school students are full of motivation and energy." So, we are always active and energetic. Especially we put a lot of energy into our school events.

First, we will introduce our school festival. It is held in September. Each class makes a performance on the stage. It makes us excited and happy. The most popular show is Japanese drum club. They always practice hard with their team members every day. We are sure that their performances make you excited. Before covid-19 was spread, senior students opened food stalls but this year, we couldn't open them. We hope that covid-19 will disappear and normal life will come back.

Secondly, we want to introduce our sports day. We have two competitions I want to recommend. One is the obstacle course (the race, which means we have to finish some tasks before or goal, we call these tasks," obstacles" . It has many obstacles. For example, we have to break a balloon ball or carry cardboard. The audience is excited. The other is the dance performance by third graders. It was so cute and excellent because they only had about two weeks to memorize the dance but they danced perfectly. This year, our principal was moved and told us" I was given a lot of courage from your performances." We hope that this culture will be kept after we graduated." That's why our sports day is so great and we can't wait for the next.

Thirdly, I'll tell you about the school cafeteria. Sometimes, special lunches are served but French fries are the most popular on our menu. In summer, ice cream is also popular.

Finally, let me tell you about the Global course. We have two classes in a week which are called Oral English. In this class, we discuss and talk about with the Global course members and Mr. Edmund in English. Recently, we learned about how to read the fraction. I think you feel it's too easy but for us, it's difficult.

That's all. Thank you for listening.
