11月18日に行われた、女子大阪総体で女子が近畿大会の出場を決めました。3回戦まで勝ち進み、4回戦で近畿大会常連校に負けてしまいましたが、敗者復活戦では前回の大会でストレート負けした相手に3-1で勝利し近畿大会出場を決めました。
この大会に向けて、OBさん方に来ていただくなど、今までにないほどの環境と意識で取り組んできました。練習の結果が目標である近畿大会出場に結びついたことが実感でき、大きな自信となりました。また、試合当日はチーム一丸となって応援し、よりいっそうチームとしてのまとまりが出来と思います。
11月4日にあった東京選手権予選では強豪校のレギュラーメンバーも多く出場する中、男子がシングルスでベスト16に入りました。私立高校の主要なメンバーを何人も倒してのこの結果で、クラブ全体のモチベーションが上がりました。
11月3日には男子の大阪総体がありましたが初戦負けという結果でした。十分にチャンスがあった中なのでかなり悔しい思いをしました。この悔しさをばねに強くなっていこうと再確認しました。女子が快挙といえる結果を残したことで、男子もモチベーションが上がっています。これまで以上に頑張っていきます。
Hello, this is the table tennis club.
On November 18th, girls won the games to participate in the Kinki Games at a female Osaka championship and they lost to the regular school of the Kinki Games in the fourth round. However, in the repechage game they won by a score of 3-1 and won to participate in the Kinki Games.
We have worked with the best training environment and awareness. OBs come to practice to help us. I have realized that the results of practice led to the goal and great confidence. Also, I supported the team as a whole on the day of the match, I think that we could unite as a team even more closely.
In the Tokyo Championship held on November 4th, many players also participated and boys entered the best 16 in singles. This result comes from beating the major members of private high school by then. So, it led to the motivation of the whole club.
On November 3, there was a male Osaka Championsip, but the result was not good. We felt humiliated because we had enough opportunities. I would like this club to become stronger. We reconfirmed. Boys also are motivated because girls produced a great achievement. We will do our best for the next game.
